Exploring the relationship between food and colonialism, Some works in Food & Colonialism focus on the hybridity, transformation, and adoption of foreign flavors and ingredients into Filipino cuisine while others consider the ways that food is an indicator of cultural belonging. The various projects were exhibited at Kresge Art Center in Michigan, USA from 2019 to 2020.
